21 Day Novel Challenge Day 13- The Editing Begins
I always begin my editing with a read through of the first draft, as you’ll hear in the Day 13 Video. I also give a basic overview to the whole approach I’ll be using to edit Destroyer.
21 Day Novel Challenge Day 12- The First Draft is DONE
I finished the first draft for Destroyer, and have just sent it out to mailing list subscribers. No typos have been fixed. There are plot gaps, placeholder names, and all sorts of other fun problems. Tomorrow, we’ll dive into fixing those!

21 Day Novel Challenge Day 10- 50,000 Words in 10 days
I’m just floored. I wrote 50,000 words in ten days, and I feel like these are GOOD words. 80% of what I’ve generated will make it in to the final draft.

My life has become a blur of typing, recording video, and dreaming about those things. It’s definitely paying off, with high dividends. I’ll be done with this novel by Friday. Here’s day nine’s video. On to day 10!

Woohoo, eight days and 40,000 words. Two more days of the same progress and I’ll have completed 50,000 words in 10 days. Not too shabby. Today’s video talks a lot about motivation, time management, and accomplishing big things.
